Traditional Marketing Budgets Lose to Interactive
July 21, 2009
WIR Bloggers,
I thought this article would be a nice addition to my last couple of post on social networking. The article talks about how traditional marketing budgets are being cut or reallocated to support new and more interactive ways of marketing.

The Entrepeneuer’s Source
June 18, 2009
WIR Bloggers -This Weeks Client Chronicles:
The Entrepreneur’s Source is a coaching franchise that has been around for over 25 years. It is a premier source for self-employment options, franchising information, education and training. They are among the top 50 franchises, are long time members of the IFA and are registered with the SBA. They have helped thousands of individuals become self-employed. The Entrepreneur’s source also has recently begun coaching small business owners to help them improve their performance.
According to Vance Meyer, Regional Developer of The Entrepreneur’s Source (TES) they use many different sources to attract potential and current entrepreneurs’. “We use print media such as The Wall Street Journal and Franchise Digest, online media including Careerbuilder.com, and we have many events throughout the year.” He has been using business opportunity emails on Careerbuilder.com for three years now and says “We have had good results and I look forward to continuing advertising on careerbuilder.com.”

Turn-Up Your Bottom Line With Low Turnover
June 12, 2009
In times like these, companies are making cuts every way they can. Some have cut back on employee outings, some have cut back on excess spending, but as a business owner have you really looked at your major costs? Turnover costs money. Not only does a retailer have to find a way to do the work of the person who left, it has to spend money to screen, evaluate, hire, put on payroll and sign up for benefits all of the costs associated with a new employee. I recently had an opportunity to speak with one of my clients about the costs of retaining top talent. Let’s see what Michelle Crites, Area Supervisor for Casey’s General Retail Stores, has to say about retaining top talent.
Just to give you an overview Casey’s is a convenience store with the most offering, not only retail and gas, but also a full service kitchen serving, fresh pizza and donuts daily. With over 1,500 stores in 9 states Casey’s is growing in this economy and is offering lots of opportunity for growth to potential employees.
